A few years ago, who would imagine that Kia could make such interesting full featured cars like the Sorento, now for 2019 this is their new SUV, a very attractive one. Available in two flavors, a four cylinder engine with 185 hp and a V6 with 290 hp, we drove the V6 all-wheel drive variant, the SX Limited, it was a delightful experience.
We found it as seductive and beautiful as the coastal italian city with one more “R” that it was named after, wouldn’t it be great to drive the Sorento across Sorrento’s narrow streets… Stepping inside is like entering another dimension, one that welcomes its occupants with a calming breeze and comfy seats wrapped with exquisitely selected leather.
We couldn’t stop admiring the intricate design of the front grille, it has the ghostly sparkle you could only find when looking inside a perfectly cut diamond. All that beauty means nothing if it’s not nicely balanced with an equally impressive amount of technology, we’re happy to report the Sorento SXL V6 AWD has plenty.
After driving the Sorento we immediately understood the intention of the designers and engineers, they gave birth to an SUV that not only transports you, it moves you.
